First Ascents Trial Session

Our First Ascents afterschool program is a great way for your child to begin climbing or improve their skills. This program meets once per week during your regularly scheduled session.
To make sure First Ascents is a good fit for your family we offer a free trial session to all newcomers. This is an opportunity for your climber to experience a full class and decide if the program is a good fit. Sign up for a trial session below, and please register for the trial session that corresponds with the day you are most likely to attend the program.
Session Options:
Ages: 6-13
- Mondays - Thursdays from 4:30PM-6PM
- Saturday 9:00AM– 10:30AM
Ages: 11+
- Tuesdays from 4:30PM-6PM
All First Ascents participants are required to have their own climbing harness.
Already have a climbing harness? You may opt out of purchasing one from TRC. Please bring the harness to your participant’s first visit so a TRC staff member can inspect and approve it for use. Harnesses must be designed and manufactured specifically for climbing and be in appropriate condition.
For safety and quality assurance, harnesses purchased through Amazon or similar online marketplaces will not be accepted.
